September 11th was a day of change for me. I was stationed in Camp Stanley, Korea at the time and it was 3:00 a.m. in Korea when I first heard about it. My husband, then my boyfriend came rushing in and woke me up. "Wendy, Wendy, wake up! We're under attack! They've just bombed the Pentagon!!" I sat up with a start. "What???!!!" He proceeded to tell me about it, and then turned on the TV. My first look showed me the twin towers smoking. I was in shock. After that, I was scared to death. I was scared that we were going to war and it would be another World War. I thought "Whoa" I did'nt join the army to fight, just to try it out. I was scared. That was how my September 11th, 2001 went. God Bless America. Have strength, we will make it through. You're going down Bin Laden, sleep with one eye open.
