Tell us your story: As the video tape stopped i saw a brief image of the burning towers flash across my tv screen,Unaware of the events taking place I asked my husband what awful movie they were showing on television, He then had the awful task of telling me that what i was witnessing was real. I felt so ill i ran to the bathroom where i thought that i would be sick, although i lived so far away my heart went out to all the people, who perished, who survived and who witnessed this terrible tragedy, my heart still to this day goes out to them. To me it seems like a nightmare, so unbelieveable,so terrible, it doesnt seem like any human could commit such an act. The stories of heroes in forms of firefighters and rescue workers where unbelievable, to this day i still struggle to understand how people could be so brave in the face of such enormous catastrophy. But I am writing this to let everyone know that Americans have the support of the world and the admiration of those wonderful people who risked their own lives to help others, it shows that earth really is a good place to be, among tragedy we have miracles, among the sad stories we have the wonderful ones, and among death we have rebirth. All Americans should be proud, not only of the Firefighters but of themselves. Continue to stand strong.
