Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: My co-worker Karen came into my office and told me that a plane had struck one of the towers in NY. A few minutes later she returned, her face white a ghost, and told me another plane just struck the other tower. I told her she must have misunderstood the announcer on the radio. We pulled up the TODAY show on the net. What we saw horrified us. We sat at her desk, with tears in our eyes, watching the story unfold. When the plane hit the Pentagon, we were is complete disbelief. We kept hearing reports about another plane which lost contact, and no one could find. That of course was the plane that crashed in PA. These things were happening all around us, and we couldn't believe it. I had to step outside of the office to have a quite cry. I walked around all day in a "shell" of disbelief and grief. The phones that usually ring constantly in our office were silenced. If was the most upsetting day. How could this happen here? Who is responsible? What is going to happen next?
