Feel free to write as much or as little as you like. Tell us your story: Its 9:50 am (Central Time), my phone rings and as I answer Hello, I hear My mom almost yelling to me to turn on the TV. Lost and not awake, it takes me several minutes to understand what is going on. I sit there on the floor watching, and talking to her for several minutes before hanging up. No sooner did I have the reciever down, and the phone rings agian. Its a good friend of mine calling me to see if I know. I talk to her a few minutes, and then hang up the phone agian, and I sit there looking at the TV, and wondering WHY? What is happening. What do I do now. You see, I was in the in Middle of moving 5 states away to Pennsylvania. My truckload of all my household stuff had left on Monday, this was Tuesday, and I was to fly out on Wednesday. There I sat on the living room floor, with a phone, a 6 inch black and white TV, my suitcase, and a cooler. Sitting there knowing that the electricity would be shut off in a few hours, not knowing if and when I would be leaving. I ended up having to stay at a motel right by the airport, because I didnt know when I was going to get to leave, if ever. After several flight cancelations, and switching airlines, I got to fly out on Friday morning, and got to my new home around Midnight that night. The next morning I got a call that the moving truck was ready for deleivery. The truck almost had to wait for me. Now after a year I am glad I am here, and I made it safely. It will always be easy to remember when I moved here, certainly not a date to be forgotten.
