It shocked me very much and made think of my friends that have someone close to them in the building. I did not have family in their but when I heard about it I put myself in one of those kids places who have lost a family member and I felt the grief that they had. It was a tradgic time in history. Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, my family and I held the flag outside by our door, and yes, it did have even more of a meaning to me after september 11th, it showed me that even though our country has our problems we come together in the time of need.
