NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. My friend, who is a pilot, woke my wife with a phone call shortly after the first plane hit the Towers. She woke me up and we turned on the television to see the burning building. Shortly after watching the devastation of the first crash, we both witnessed, as did the whole country, the second plane crashing into the second building. It was unreal. We couldn't believe what was happening. We prayed for those people right then and there.....Later that day, i went over to my church and joined a prayer group/session that was being held for those affected by the Sept. 11th tradegy. It was unbelievable. The images caught on tape will forever be etched in our minds. It reminds me of how much our fallen world needs the love of Jesus Christ in their lives. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. It really put things into perspective and made my wife and I remember the important things in life. God's will, grace, and love; relationships; and friends and family are so much more important than making a lot of money and obtaining material items. I think many people, including us, needed to be reminded of that. It makes me sad that it took an act like this to make us realize this, but i am glad that we have now focused on the more important things in life. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think it is important for us all to know that God still loves us and is in control, despite the destruction that man caused that horrible day. We should remember those lives lost and pray for the affected people. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, we flew an American flag shortly after the attacks. We also became more patriotic about the flag and were proud to be an American.
