Then I thought of my Brother, who was working in Canada at the time and was being restationed in New York the next day. I just wanted him to come home. So I would know he was safe and My mom would calm down at least a little. As far back as I can remember I have never witnessed anything as sad and and scary. The feelings I had that day will stay with me forever. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes, My life has changed in a tremendous way. I used to love to travel and now i am almost to scared to leave my home state. I would not get on a plane now if my life depended on it. There is just to much that could happen. I dont want anyone in my family to ever set foot on another plane. It is just to terrifying to think that my family or I could be gone just like that. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? Mostly I think that the lives lost should be remembered the most. Buildings can be replaced but people cant. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, My family flew a flag after the attacks. I now feel more pride in the flag. I feel that it stands for more now.
