NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I witnessed history on september 11th when i was in 2nd period at school. I was a teachers aide and my friend ran in and told me what had happened. There wasnt a t.v in the classroom so we walked across the hall into a different classroom to watch the news and to see what was going on. Everyone watching the t.v was silent no one could say anything everyone was in shock, and couldn't believe what had happened. As I looked around the room no one would say anything, we all just sat there we didn't know what to do or think it was a horrible feeling. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I think my life has changed because of September 11th. I think after this whole thing happened everyone had a lot more respect for people and everyone was willing to do all they could do to help everyone out. I think everyone in the United States has been affected by this whole thing. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think everything should be remembered about 9/11. I think we need to remember family and friends that were killed during the attacks, we should remember doctors, fire fighters, and everyone else that went to the twin towers and helped. We need to remember everything and everyone that was involved in 9/11. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? We fly an American flag now after the events of September 11th. I have always saw the flag as a sign of freedom. But, now after the events of 9/11 my feelings are stronger, when i look at the flag now it really brings a whole new feeling to me, it reminds me of how the United States has stuck together through all these hard times the past year, and brings a whole new meaning to me when i see the American Flag now.
