I had planned vacation for the week of September and looking back, am glad that I did. I don't think that I would have wanted to be at work when this tragedy struck on 9/11/01. I watched in horror and sadness as I saw the events unfold. I never thought that something like this could happen here, but it did. That day, along with the rest of the week, was very difficult, but I had to watch the events on TV so that I could remember this time in history and to hope that many would be found alive.

Unfortunately, many were either found dead or never found at all. Today, 9/11/02, has been a day to reflect back on what happened, shed some tears again, and hope that those affected can move forward with their lives. I know that I will never forget what happened but will do whatever I can to help others in need.
