NMAH Story: Story
My husband called me from work to tell me a plane flew into the World Trade Center. I turned the TV on just when the second one hit. At first I didn't understand the magnitude of it all until the plane went into the Pentagon. I remember calling my sister crying and at that point I realized our world had changed forever.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
There isn't a day that goes by that I don't thank God for being able to say that I'm an American. But some days I'm afraid to turn on the TV or radio because of what I'll see.
NMAH Story: Remembered
How can you not remember the way our country came together. I can honestly say that that was the first time I felt as if every American was mybrother and sister. I felt a comroderie with every person in our country and I believe we all felt that way. We need to remember that every day of our lives.
NMAH Story: Flag
Right after the attacks happened, I went out and put my flag up and it has flown every day since and will continue to fly.
