NMAH Story: Story
I witnessed history on September 11, 2001 when I got out of school. It was about 12:15 when I was going home from school and my mother had the radio on and there wasnt any music for a good 20 minutes. Then I started to listen to what was being said and I heard that two planes struck the
World Trade Center Buildings and that a plane struck the Pentagon as well. It was shocking at first because it seemed unreal and I didnt believe it. Then when I got home and put the television on and there was news on almost every channel about what was said on the radio. When I
saw the planes crash into the buildings I was in disbelief. I just couldntbelieve what I saw.

NMAH Story: Life Changed
It affected my life a lot because I knew friends who either had family or friends on one of those planes. After that I started to say some extra prayers for the family and friends who had loved ones on those planes.
NMAH Story: Remembered
I think the most important thing we should remember about September 11 is all the inosent lives that were lost and their familys and friends.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes. My feelings have changed becaue now I think that event drew the country even closer than it was before and when we wav that American flag it shows we are proud to be an American. The terrorists tried to break our unity as a country but stood together and helped each other during that desperate time of need.
