I was a sixth grader at South Doyle Middle School in my 5th period Mathematics class. It was not until then we had heard about the attacks. My tacher, Ms.Vartan, turned on the T.V. as me and the rest of my classmates watched in horror. I didn't really understand what was going on until I got home later that day after school. My mother and father explained it to me and we watched(again and again) as the World Trade Center fell to ground zero. Now that I am older and able to understand I now know what impact 9:11 has had on our country as a whole and how we need to stand together in times of heartache and pain.
