NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On September 11,2001 we were sitting in our classes when our principal came onto the loud speaker. He asked the teachers to turn on the t.v. When we did we saw the buildings lying on the ground in big piles. We also saw all the people running for their lives. The people who didnt make it were covered with a tarp looking covering. There were ambulances and police cars everywhere. All day this continued. When i got home my family, of coarse, had been watching this tradic event also. That night our church had a serimonial event and we went to that. They showed everything over and everyone prayed. My life hasnt really changed that much except that im more careful and alot more respectful to my country. I think that September 11,2001 was a act of cruelty and I think that the person that did it might have been jelious of our rights or freedom NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think everyone should remember how our country came together. After everything calmed down you could notice a differance in the way everyone acted. Also, everyone was more patriotic as wearing red, white, and blue and different things such as that. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, we did fly a flag after September 11,2001. My feelings have changed some as in what the colors truely stand for.
