I had no idea about it so on my walk home I stopped at my friend's house to call and ask my mom if I could stay. When I called, my dad picked up and as soon as I said "Hi Dad" he was yelling that he was coming to get me because of the New York bombings. I had no idea what he was talking about so we asked my friend Amanda's mom. She told us what happened and turned on the T.V. We were stunned, but soon my dad was there to take me home. When I got home my mom was crying. All night i was so scared, I watched the events on T.V. As the day after September 11th went by, my mom made flags and flag pins for everyone. Soon almost everybody was shoing patriotism. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. September 11th changed my life because it made me think more about things and how they could be gone like that. It also made me more patriotic. Since after Spetember 11th my mom hasmade our porch, and living room americana, and we have an american flag hanging over our deck. My feelings about the American flag have changed since a result of September 11th because I now show more patriotism than before.
