NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I witnessed September 11th in my classroom with my fellow students. We were watching the t.v. and the first plane had aleady hit one of the twin towers. We were watching it for about 10 more minutes and then we saw the second one hit. It was terrifying to watch i couldnt imagin actually being in New York at that time. I did not realize the extent of these attacks at first until i saw my teacher almost sheding a tear. After that i didnt know what to expect. I was thinking what if the terrorists start to target other big cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, and Las Vegas. And as all these thoughts were going through my head the first tower crumbled to the ground killing numerous amounts of people. Then i herd the t.v. reporter say "let's switch our camera's back to Washington D.C." The next thing i knew i saw the pentegon on fire with plane that had crashed into it. i was now really scared that our country was in real jepordy. I thought tha beacuse i always saw specials on t.v. about how the pentagon has o much security that it is impossible to so anything harmful to it.
