NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was in reading class when this breataking, hearstopping tragic moment in history occured. I was ready for an ordinary reading class, but that is where i was wrong. For this reading class was a moment that none of us would ever forget. It was the collapsing of the world trade center we were all sitting in terrifing silence and wondering could this ever happend is this possible. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. This historic moment in history changed me in a way i would have never expected. It made me realize how lucky i am to be an american and how lucky I am to be alive. I also noticed how important my rights and freedom are to me and that they can be taken away in the blink of an eye. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The firemen and citizens who risked their lives for the weakend and injured few. They put athers before themselfes showing an act of bravery and loyalty to one another. Rather then running they fight for the lives of the injured so they may live, these people were willing to and ready to give up their lives so that others my live. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? My family has always hung a flag infront of my home. The only thing that has changed is the way i feell about the american an how I understand the american flag. It means patriotism and freedom and it is a symboll of our rights as americans and how hard we worked to get that freedomm and we are ready to fight but not to gain our freeedom but to protect our freedom.
