NMAH Story: Story
I witnessed history at school on September 11th. I went to school not knowing what happened until second period. We watched the news all day in school and learned more of what happened throughout the day. I didn't come to realize what was really happening until after I got home. The tragedy was still a surprise to me and it didn't get through my head that thousands of innocent people had died. The grief and sorrow that the victims' families must have gone through were unfamiliar to me. I have never lost anyone so dearly close to me and just to think of how the families were feeling made me feel almost guilty that they were going through so much pain and i was just sitting watching the tv on what happened.
NMAH Story: Life Changed
No, it hasn't.
NMAH Story: Remembered
How the people came together and were there to help and support each other in this time of hardship.
NMAH Story: Flag
Yes, I did fly and American flag after the events of September 11th. My feelings about the American flag haven't changed much, but now there is more meaning to to the flag for me.
