Tell us your story: it's early tuesday morning, my mom walks into my room crying tell me that my fience would not be able to make our wedding day. i start to cry wondering why she is telling me this. she makes me get out of bed and go to the tv downstairs. then it hits me the site of all that smoke and fire comming from the twin towrs. i sit in shock and wonder how my fience is doing and if they have shiped him out to NY. finally i get the call. he is all right the base is on high elert and he wont be able to talk long.he wants me to know that he loves me and he will let me know any news that he can. all day long i see thease horable images and wonder what will be next. what will happen to us all and what are we going to do about this attack. i then decied that i am going to join the military. i want to grow stronger and be challenged as well as protect people from things like this from ever happening again. i go to the recrutting office and they tell me that i am to hevy. so i work out and now 45 pounds latter i have 5 pounds and then i am off. soon to be called a mairen. i hope this story inspires at least one other person to do what they feel is a way to remeber those who lost there live on 9/11 and all those who lost there lives to support our freedom.
