I was home alone working on my computer and watched it unfold on television, Fox News Channel, which was the only channel I found that had really live coverage. The other channels were showing the same blurry footage over and over. I saw some incredible live scenes on Fox, right down on the streets, both in NYC and at the Pentagon. I've always considered myself a patriotic person, having lived overseas and having spent all of my adult life in fighting the Cold War, until we won it. I have always flown the American flag when living in the U.S. Since September 11th I have been inspired to also fly an historical "Snake" flag, the one used on Navy ships which says "Don't Tread On Me".
