911DA Story: Story
Wow, what a day to remember but yet would like to forget. I remember sitting at home the night of Sept. 11th questioning "is this real." I was seven months pregnant with my first child. I sat on my couch watching the news sobbing and scared to death to bring a child into this world. The emotions running through my body ranged from anger to guilt to helpfulness. The victims, families and heroes of Sept. 11th will never be forgotten.
One year later, Sept. 11th, 2002... I was changing my little girls diaper at 6:30 AM. I told her how valuable life was and to enjoy every second. We said a little prayer asking God to watch over everyone involved in Sept. 11th and to let them know they will never be forgotten. God Bless.
