NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. When I heard about Septemeber 11th it was later that day around 2:15. I was in the middle school and students were getting called out of class all day. So of course everyone was wondering what was going on. So when the principle of the school came on to tell us what had happened i automatically thought of my godmother, Julie. Who works in the city. When i got home from school i quickly called my mom and asked if she had heard from Julie. When she said that she hadn't. My heart just sank. I didnt know what to do. Then she had told me that she we had a relative that worked in the trade centers. I didnt know what to do. So the rest of the time i sat in front of hte television just wondering why someone would so just a DUMB thing! All i was concerned about was getting whoever had dont this to us. I wanted him to feel the pain that he put all of those people through, And now 1 year later and we still haven't found him makes me feel like our country didnt protect us. It has definetly changed my life only because of the fact that if something like this happens again we, the country, will never take a stand! Yes and yes, I feel as if the flag REALLY represents the United States as a whole.
