I was in second period literature when the principal came over the intercom and told all of the teachers not to turn on their tv's until futher notice. We were all scared by the tone of the principal's voice,so we asked what had happened and our 2nd period teacher did not want to tell us.I did not find out until 3rd period at P.E. that 2 planes had crashed into the World Trade Center causing the first tower to collapse.Then,when I got home my parents were all worried and there was nothing else on t.v. accept what had happened that day.Then, for the next several days friends of mine were crying because someone in their family died . I sent money and clothes t opeople in New York. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Well, I feel sorry about all of the people that lost someone in the rubble ,but I was fortunate not to lose anyone or anything. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think we should remember the people that died and how we felt when we heard other people's story . I think we should also remember the fundraisers and things that we sent to the people in New York. I think we should also remember how united America became and how relationships became closer to the people that we love . NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, we did fly an American flag ,but no my feelings have not changed because I have always loved and respected it, and my country.
