NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On September 11th when the first plane hit I was sitting in math class doing my daily assignment when my math teacher Mr. Wong came in and told us that two planes had hit the World Trade Center. At first I didnt really know what was going on because i didnt know that much about what happend. When i got to second period i found out how seroius it was and that a plane had hit the Pentogon in Whashington D.C., we were also watching the news in second period and i was watching all the people that were crying and were scared and then it hit me that this was really bad. At that point i was kinda scared and confused about what was going on. That day Mr. Miller came on the intercom and told us we had to go home right after school and that all activities after school were canceled cause he wanted us home withour families. That night after school couldnt really sleep because i was thinking about all the people i saw on the news jumping out of the buildings and all the poeople that lost people in there families. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life changed alot from this because after September 11th everybody including me were very sad and confused about what happend. Alson it changed my life because i started to recognize the pleanes and stuff that flew over and every time a plane flew over i got that fealing in my stomach. It also changed my life because i started to relize how lucky i am to be part of America, the strongest country in the world. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think we need to remember the most the people who dies and the people who lost people in the tragedy because they were amercians and they died in one of the worst tragedys in American history. I think we also need to remember the heros that saved hundreds of people from dieing in this trajedy, so i would want t`o remember the firemen, police men people who gave blood and all the other people who helped save lives. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes my family has been flying a flag after this we were before but we didnt have it up all the time. I think its importnat to have american pride and having a flag out or doing somthin else to show that you love america.
