It was terrible what happened in the United States, but it made me realize that the people of that country and many others go through the same tragedy every day. Their tragedy may not be as great in numbers, but losing one, or two, or two thousand should have all the same inpact on people. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has changed after 9-11 because the people of my life were affected, mostly my mother. On that morning my time went on as normal at least at school, but some people were very sadden by the expirence, and i felt for them. I think my emunity was due to the fact that I've never been to New York or the Pentagon. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think 9-11 should be remembered for its significance in history. I hope that people now and in the future will realize the problems in that region of the world; for their hate towards them selves is much worse than towards us, and innocent people die everyday as a result for it. I don't morn for us, as much as i morn for the innocent people in that pool of hate. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? I have not flown a flag, for the "commercal patriotism" sickens me. I don't tell people that because if they feel the urge to be patriotic after 9-11, so be it, i wont lose any respect for them. I think less of Bush for going to war, but im sure he thought of the peoples best intrests, as a good president should.
