On September 11, 2001 during second and third period it witnessed the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center. I was in English class when a teacher ran into our room and told us to turn on the tv This is when I first found out that a plane had crashed into the World Trade Center. No one knew this was a terrorist attack yet. The bell rang and everyone continued on to there next class. Went I got to my next class which was math the tv was already on and we witnessed on live tv the second plane coming and crashing into the building. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. The events of September 11 did not directly affect me. They affected the entire world. For a few days after the incident all plane flights were canceled. Now at the airport your bags need to be searched and your shoes need to be x rayed. This means you need to be at the airport extra early. Also at any sporting event all your bags need to be checked. Now most places dont allow to bring any kind of bag into a sporting event. The events f September 11 affected everyone around the world. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that people should remember the families of the people who lost there lives on September 11. I also think that the peole that helped with the rescue should be rewarded and remembered.The rescue workers risked their own lives to save strangers. I think that is very brave and kind of them and i think they hould be remembered for it . NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, after September 11 we few an American flag. After September 11 the flag seems to have more meaning to everyone. I think that you that the flag became a symbol of unity instead of power. Also the flag will remind everyone about the terrable events that took place on september 11.
