Before theSeptember 11th attacks, I never thought about why our country is called the United States of America. I think as a nation we should remember that we came together, supported each other, and "united" together as a nation. At Ground Zero ordinary people came together and worked day in and day out to clean up the damage that was created. To show that as a nation we were united, people all over the nation flew the American flag. We were not going to allow evil to win, and we showed it by uniting together and fighting for our beliefs. As a nation we should all remember that we are the United States of America, and together we will win over evil.
