NMAH Story: Story
I LIVE IN ORLANDO,FL.I HAD JUST BACK FROM DROPPING KIDS OFF AT SCHOOL.I HADN'T EVEN TURNED ON THE TV YET.I CALLED MY GIRLFRIEND( MY USUAL ROUTINE)AND ASKED WHAT SHE WAS DOING SHE REPLIED "WATCHING SOMEONE FLY A PLANE INTO THE WTC."I TURNED THE TV ON IN TIME TO SEE THE SECOND PLANE HIT.I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT. WHEN THE FIRST ONE HIT I THOUGHT IT MUST HAVE BEEN A TERRIBLE ACCIDENT,BUT WHEN THE SECOND ONE HIT I KNEW IT WAS NO ACCIDENT.I IMMEDIATELY CALLED MY MOM,THEN THEY HIT THE PENTAGON.WHEN THEY HIT THE PENTAGON I BECAME TERRIFIED,I BEGAN CRYING .I JUST KNEW THERE WAS SOMETHIING TERRIBLE WRONG AND THAT ALL AMERICANS WERE IN DANGER.I THOUGHT WE WERE ALL GOING TO DIE AND I JUST WANTED MY CHILDREN WITH ME. I RAN STAIGHT TO SCHOOL AND BROUGHT THEM HOME WITH ME.I REMAINED GLUED TO THE TV IN TEARS AND JUST ACHING INSIDE FOR ALL THOSE PEOPLE AND THEIR FAMILIES.LIVING IN ORLANDO I'M RATHER CLOSE TO NASA AND PATRICK AIR FORCE BASE MY FEAR WAS THE NEXT TARGET WOULD BE ONE OF THEM.IT VERY SCAREY FOR MONTHS AFTER THAT.
