NMAH Story: Story
I had just returned home from the hospital at around 06:30. My brother Kenny had been hurt at work in an industrial accident. I was in bed when my sister Nancy called me and told me a plane had crahsed into one of the towers. I immediately turned on my t.v set and sat and watch as the second plane struck.
I sat on the couch with my wife Julia watching the news as it happened. I screamed out "oh my god it's collapsing" as the first tower fell.
I spent the next several days digging in the rubble of the towers in an effort to help someone find a family member that I hoped was still alive. Friends tell me I should try to forget the things I saw in those days, but I tell them that I have to remember so that no one ever forgets.
We lost a friend that day, his name is Chris Dincuff. He was a good and kind man and loved by all who knew him.
