NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was at work. A coworker of mine told me of the first plane crash. My nephew is in the army and I imediatedly called him and then my sister. All the lines were blocked to the arny base. I cried... I still cry. As a compay, we watched the next plane crash into the second tower. We held hands and said a prayer. My nephew called later that night to say everything was alright and every one was on stand by. The Army told all of the men to call their families and tell them they were ok and to tell them they loved them. I will nevedr forget that day and the feeling of hoplessness. WE ALL FACE THAT SAME ATTACK. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes I fly the American flag. I did befor the 11th and still do. I believe that people take the flag for granted. The laws are not upheld when it comes to the American flag and people do not respect it.
