NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I witnessed it on Television at before class started. The tv was on and i walked in thinking we would watch a movie.... turns out i saw huge building, which i later found out were the trade towers, that had huge smokes coming out of it, people yelling, running, and going crazy. About 5minutes later class started and our School District informed all the teachers that the students will not watch the news for what happened. My two teachers for 8th grade thought we were old enough, so we watched the news for the whole daying seeing that day exactly aftered it happened. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life and thousands of other's has changed because we have learned that United States are not invisincible. We got messy and started to ignore the fact that we do need security more and more, we can get bombed like others in Israel, we can die from explosives in a single second. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think September 11th should be the day that we recognized that we were not invincible. We got punched in the face from someone that we couldnt see coming. Instead of pre-paring for that punch, we closed our eyes, and put both hands behind our back. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, i did fly the flag at my house after September 11th. I think more people have recognized what it symbolizes now that we need to be more prepared, that we need to take precautions and that whoever comes after us.. we will sure find you and do ten times to you, what you did to us.
