NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On September 11, I walked into my seminar class at 11:00 A.M. When I walked in my teacher asked me if I had heard, but I had no idea what she was talking about. After all of my class was in the room and sitting down, my teacher announced that the United States had been attacked. At the time none of us really understood what was happening. All of my class ended up watching the the terror happen on the television for the rest of the class period. For the entire day all of my peers were terrified that we would be attacked too. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes, I would say that since September 11, 2001 my life has changed, but for the better. It has made me realize that I shouldn't take every thing for granted, and that I should spend as much time as I can with family and friends. Now I feel very proud to be an American. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that all of those who lost or sacrificed their lives for our county. They should always be remembered as heros. Also the fact that even though what has happened made our county stronger and even more united. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes after September 11, 2001 I did fly an American flag. Yes now I feel that the flag is a symbol of our countries strength and unity.
