NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. On Septemberf 11th I was woken up by my mother saying that the twin towers have been hit by a plane. Well I was half asleep so i basically told my mom ton leave me alone untiln i woke up for school. Then when i acctually woke up a little later i went out into the front room and i remember looking at my mom who was watching the news and seeing her face as white as a gost. Then i remember running into my boyfriends room and waking him up and then he got up and we all gathered around and watchedn as the seconed plane hit the other tower. We all sat there in silence not saying a word just holding each other and i new that from that point on my life would never be the same. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes my life has changed since then because i have really good friends that live in New York and i am really worried about there safety then and now. Also i new right away that we were going to start war and i have family in the millitary and close friends and they ended uip[ goiong over there but thank god that i did not loose any of them most of them have returned home but not all so my prayers will always be with them and everybody else who has family and friends over there. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? How many brave people we have that risked there life for others and that we all come together for support and as one for our nation. Also that we will grow from this experience and become a strongerf nation as one. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes i flew a flag after September 11th but no it has not changed my feelings about it because it stood for the same thing 20 years ago like it does now and even farther back.
