On the morning of Spetember 11, 2001, i went to school and saw my teacher sitting at her desk crying. When we all sat down, our teacher turned on the T.V. and shared with us what had happened. Many students had already heard the news but that was the first time for me. I was shocked and full of questions like, " Who would do this? WHy would someone do this? How many people were hurt? " I didn't really know what to think. The hardest thing for me to see was people jumping out of buildings killing themselves trying to escape the flames. My life has changed because of this day because i am more patriotic and I realize that our country is so blessed to have good leaders like George Bush who get us through hard times. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think everyone should remember the victims and their families, and the people who sacrificed their lifes trying to safe others. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? I fly a flag every day now after the events of September 11. I have always had a strong respect for our flag.
