911DA Story: Story
I was at work listening to the radio when they made the announcement that a plane had hit the World Trade Center. I ran to the television set to see exactly what had happened. I truly thought it was going to be a small plane who had an accident so I wasn't prepared to see what I was about to see. When I turned on the television and saw the first tower on fire and my heart stopped. I was glued to the television until the second tower collapsed. At that point, I couldn't bear anymore and began crying uncontrollably. I had visited the Twin Towers in September 2000, among other places, and had made the decision of moving to New York. Today, a year after the attack on America, I still plan on moving to New York as soon as I get my Bachelors Degree in December of this year. My plans are to get a job and use all of my spare time as a volunteer helping New York rebuild. God Bless America.
