Share your experience. i was in 3rd period (r&i) and mrs. walrath came in cring. we didnt know what was goin on. every one just looked at each other and was in shock we had never seen mrs. walrath cry. she looked at us and said guys put your books down i have to tell u something. we all got quit and were kind of scared. what did she have to tell us that she was cring about? she sat there a while in quite and then started to talk.when she started to talk her voice started to crack."guys", she said. "we, america has been well,hit." what did she mean? then she said it more clear. "New York has been hit by two planes and it has baicly killed alot of people." what?!? when did this happen we all thought. We dont know when this is going to end she said. it was done propsoly though. why, we all thougth. everyone was silent the rest of class. we didnt know what was going to happen next. when we got to soccer everyone was siclent there and thats unusual. no one knew. when i got home my mom let me watch the news and i didnt have to do my homework! but it was horrible. it was on every channel. to tell you the truth i would have rather have done my homework. the next day at school the teachers were the same way. we didnt have to do any work and all we did was watch the news. i never want something to happen that horrible again. but, you know what now i dont have to even think twice about saying america's name of saying the pledge, or even singing the national enthim. Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? i love the american flag now. i dont have to be inbarresed when i wave it or i wear one on my shirt. im proud it!
