NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I awoke that morning and turned tv on. I was confused, when I watched the first plane hit the tower. Than the reports of the other planes. I was horrified. I stayed in front of my tv that morning in sheer panic. Praying this was all some horrible nightmare. I was in a state of shock, like so many other americans. How could this be happening here? My mind jumped around, thinking of my children, praying for all the families of the victims on the planes. Chills went thru my body as I watched the towers collapse. All I could do is sit and and watch on tv as the tears fell down my face. I have always been proud to be an american, and have displayed my patriotism by flying a flag outide my home and wearing a pin proudly on my chest.
