NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I was at work talking on the phone to a BP (British Petrolium) retiree about her medical benefits. All of a sudden, she stopped me and told me what was being said on the news about an airplane hitting the World Trade Center. The rest of the day was pretty much a blur...announcements were made at work that if anyone needed to leave or make phone calls to make sure that their loved ones were safe that they were able to make any long distance calls needed. We had a prayer meeting at 10:30 in one of the break rooms. I just couldn't wait to leave that day to go pick up my baby from daycare!!!! It was truly surreal! NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I really think that I appreciate life more after that day. I have always said that "life is too short to not live it to the fullest", but now I truly believe it! NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that it is important to remember how the entire world seemed to come together, if nothing else, for a short time. It was truly remarkable how small the world became!!!
