NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. I remember coming into my English class around 9:00 and no one was seated in their seats. Everyone was crowed around the TV, watching at the back of the room watching what was happening to the buildings. Some kids thought is was cool and others didn't exackly know what to say. My teacher hadn't really said anything, she was just glued to what the TV was showing. That day we didn't really have class, most of the time was spent watching to see what would happen next. I remember a guy saying, thats awesome and of course with out a doubt being yelled at. I assume it hadn't registered into his mind either. It didn't even occur to me what really had happened. Our teacher then somewhat explained the situation to us, still the information wasn't coming in to me as reality. I remember vagly seeing the second plane hit into the second building but not well enough to explain what happened. You know, a year later it only started being real now. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life hasn't changed how thousands of others has, in the way of loosing someone you love. Mine has changed for the fact that I try to make everyday the best that I can cause it would be my last. Its changed for myself because even though I was one to loose someone, I can feel from the surroundings just how that might feel. We've read millions of articules and words from others who were their or saw what was happening, and every time it brings this feeling that I can't explain. I'm sure everyone has felt it before. A feeling that you definitly can't put into words. In a way I wish instead of those families being hurt mine could have been so they wouldn't have been at such loss but then mine would be just as bad as theirs. I wish someway of another their was something I could do to help. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? Everything should be remember it wouldn't be September 11th if you didnt remember what really happened.- The good and the bad. Their isn't one day where things are going to be prefect. I say remember what you can, cause otherwise it won't affect you, even if its bad. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? I don't fly an American flag but the flag goes have more meaning to it when you see it in pictures. It shows everything now that the US has gone through. I know after each anniversary of sept. 11 each time it'll much more than the last.
