NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. It was first period of science class and my tacher seem a bit nervous she had just heard the news and i think she chose not to be the one to tell us. So i went on to second period and we did everything and it seemed normal. So finally i went on to reading and the tv was on so i just thought "Yes! No work today." Yet in fact it was CNN and the news reporter was explaining how a plane had crashed into one of the trade center buildings. It wasn't at all like reality it felt fake i couldn't get it though my head. As soon as i had walked in to the room and took a seat. I look up at the screen and found out then another plane had hit and the other building. Later one collapsed into itself then the other building collapesed too. I relized it was reality after wards and it was hard to see all the mourning people. It seemed like the entire world stopped. It was like a haze flashed over for the rest of the month and even the presidents reasuring words never completly made me feel completely safe. I can still see those same images of the tv screen. It was a tramatic time for every one NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. I didn't loose anyone but one of my parents friends had been there the day before and had went all the way up to the top of the trade center. Also another one of my parents friend worked for the trade center but he was not there. My life has change I began to think about my life in general and all the thing i take for grantit every day but it didn't truely affect me like some of the people I know. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I should remember all of it and I will but the main point is will remember how the people who showed up to the trade center to help the people didn't stop they knew they were going to risk their life and they new it was going to be hard but they didn't stop. i want to remember how everyone stop to help the people in need they didn't have to worry about looking dumb or anything they did it cause it was the right thing NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? to both of the questions yes. to the second question i know what it is to be an american how lucky i am. the american flag is something that shows the US as United hence the name United States of Americai can say that now because i know what it is to be United.
