On September 11, 2001, I went for a run before class as I usually do. When I got back, I took a shower. For some reason I checked my voicemail and I had a message from my mom. She was in a panic and said that the trade tower had been bombed. I turned on the TV and as soon as I saw the news I went to change the channel because I thought it was a movie. As I watched, the second plane crashed into the tower and my knees gave out. I sat on the floor and then I saw the pentagon. I really started to get scared then. Here I am a few miles from the pentagon, and my family is in NJ afew miles from the trade towers. I tried to call home but couldn't get through. Finally I talked to my mom online. My parents were scared which made me even more scared. All I wanted to do was go home. I sat in my room and talked to all of my friends. I finally calmed down and talked to my family. I just remeber wondering what would happen next...
