I was getting ready for school and was watching the news when "Breaking News" showed up on the television. It cut to a picture of the World Trade Center on fire. About 5-10 minutes later I saw another plane in the corner of the screen crash into the other building. I think 9/11 should be remembered as the day America pulled together, helped each other, supported each other, and risked their lives for other people. We flew American flags, but i've always thought of the flag as a representation of freedom and America's past. 9/11 strengthened that feeling.
