My name is Matt Owens and i was in Mrs. Penhale's classroom last year when the first plane hit. we had heard of something about the twin towers so we got online to look and see. when we turned on the t.v. i saw the second plane hit the world trade center. chill bumps ran down my spine and everyone gasped we didnt know what was going to happen next. the news corresseponder that was on the television set said there was one more plane in the air somewhere over pennslyvania. i was tottaly horrified. i didnt know what was going to happen. then over the intercom i heard my name being called to check out. i went to the office where i saw my mom in tears she said the pentagon had been hit too, and as we went home we listened to the president over the radio about all the chaos going on in the united states that day. i actually thought we were going into world war 3 i was scared to death. i thought i was going to die. and i defintly thought the end of the world was near... NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. My life has defintly changed since sept. 11. i cant say the u.s. was so together and joined like they are now i am actually proud of the u.s. and the way weve handled this tragedy.
