NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. At the time it happened I was in Balikpapan, Indonesia ( I live there) when it happened. I was on the pc playing a gamee, when my mom suddenly ran in my room and told me to come and look. I walked over to the tv, and thought that what I saw was a movie, the only thing is is that a movie usually doesn't have "Breaking News" under it. I stood there for a while like I was stunned. I didn't say anything. Suddenly I saw the second plane crash into the WTC. We immediately called my dad who was in Jakarta, a two hour plain flight away from me. I sat down on the sofa for however long it took until the first and then the second plane crashed down. It was just terrible... I think especially because now I'm more cautious overall. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? The things that should be remembered are that it was just terrible how people were jumping out of the buildings and that people like firefighters and medics died because they were trying to save others.
