NMAH Story: Story

I was in first period volleyball practice when one of our
coaches had come in and told us that an airplane had hit one
of the twin towers. At that time I had thought it was only an
accident. Then I continued on to second period Leadership
class when the second plane hit the other tower and at that time i knew that it
could have not just been an accident.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

Since September 11, 2001 somethings have been different in
my life, especially my emotions toward this country. When I
think about September 11 I think about all the lives that were
taken from their families and it makes me think what I would have
done if any of my family members had been involved. I also learned
not to take anything for granted and to be grateful for what
God has given me.

NMAH Story: Remembered

I think that the thing that should be remembered most is all
the firefighters and policeman and anyone who tried to save
lives. They are the world's greatest hero's and they will
never be forgotten.

NMAH Story: Flag

I did put a flag in my bedroom window after the tragic events
of September 11. When I see the American flag or when I hear
the star spangled banner I think of that lives lost, the families
left incomplete, and the hero's of America.
