I walked into Biology and one of my fellow classmates was talking about a plane that had just hit one of the Twin Towers. None of my teachers after that could really explain anything so we watched the news instead of work. The whole day up until sixth hour, the attacks hadn't sunk in and I was in shock. My sixth hour soccer coach sat us down and talked about what happened. He told us that "tonite is a night you spend with your family," he also told us that while we were outside stop and look in the sky because for the first time in history no planes were flying. The victims. the families and the children. We should remember how the United States really became united. We should remember not to take anything for granted because in one minute it could all be taken away. We should Remember! NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes, I felt like the American flag was not only a focus point to sing the Pledge of Allegiance too, but also a symbol for pride. The flag represents those Americans who survived, died, and victimized. It shows that even though aMerica was hurt it is still standing and standing strong.
