            <text> Memories

As you know on September 11, 2001 two jetliners hit the WTC. This was a day of mourning for all. Many people lost loved ones. Many fire and rescue personnel were also lost. President George Bush took the news hard. He probably felt like he was two inches tall. He dealt with this problem because he was in a class of little children. He knew that he shouldn?t tell them because they were too young. He knew that this day would truly sadden all and that it would bring back terrible memories.

This was a day of misery and mourning for all of the United State?s of America. People from Afghanistan hijacked the two jetliners that hit the WTC. The hijackers used box cutters and knifes. The jetliners and the few hundred passengers were blown to bits and the Trade Centers were also destroyed. Bin laden the ?master mind? behind this whole disaster should have been killed would have killed him. He was happy that he had succeeded in taking down the Trade Centers. They over the years have become a national landmark. They were a place of employment for several thousand workers. After all they were only working and next thing they see is a big 747 coming right for them and they had no warning. They were making an honest living and I know that most of them have children. So what I?m trying to say is they needed money for a roof over their head and clothes. Many tourists thought that the Trade Centers were so beautiful.

?Oh My God,? hollered my science teacher, Mr. Lavadure, as I walked into third period. We were all scared because we knew there have been threats that something was going to happen and I thought about it and I said the same thing my teacher said. I knew what had happened. I figured that the threats were true and something very bad has happened. I knew they were aiming for the Twin Towers. I was scared from that day on whenever I see a low flying plane. I can relate to how the people of New York felt seeing a plane that looks like it?s going to crash. After all I was sitting at a demolition derby and there was a low flying plane flying towards the mountains and it brushed the trees as it went over the mountain. It looked like the plane was only about 300 feet off the ground. It was scary. The whole problem was that Bin Laden didn?t like our god, and what made this whole disaster worst is when the 15 years old boy flew a small plane into a bank.

After 9-11-02 everyone almost cried because of the losses and because the heroic fire and rescue personnel were handling the situation so good. Many of the fire and rescue personnel were lost because the buildings floors sandwiched everyone in the buildings as they went down. The fires raged through the elevator shafts up and down. There were fires shooting out the sides of the buildings and people knowing that they were going to die were jumping out the windows. The jet fuel caused the fire to go to the lobby. It cause fireballs to occur and people actually were inside the fireball. It is now one year later and watching T.V. programs makes it feel like it happening all over again. All the people on the programs were in tears. Just watching it cause my eyes to tear and just knowing how it feels makes it worse. It would be one thing if it was a natural disaster but it wasn?t, it was the work of one man screwing with peoples minds.

In conclusion I think that they should get out of those training camp and if they want to die then let them kill themselves in their own country not ours. There is no reason to endanger the lives of thousands to kill one or two or maybe even three but they don?t have to kill us Americans. From what most people say, it sounded like they sent warnings. They could of save most of those people just by sending up some stealth fighter planes. They should have listened to the warnings.
