NMAH Story: Story

I was in class at the university I attend. I was sitting in a computer lab when my friend returned to class stating that a plane had gone into the World Trade Center. I tried relentlessly to get onto a webpage such as CNN or MSNBC. After about 10 minutes, I was successful. As I looked at the image of the first tower that was hit, I thought it was an accident...until, the second plane hit. By the time class let out, the towers had collapsed. Crowds of people stood horrified by the images on televisions set up on campus. Classes were cancelled...I drove home numb as police sirens echoed for what seemed like forever...they were making a clear path for the national guard, who were in route to Somerset, PA, where another place had gone down.

NMAH Story: Life Changed

I'm convinced that the worst is yet to come. I believe that September 11, 2001 was the beginning of the end. I don't want to believe that, but it's hard to believe otherwise. I don't dwell on it and I continue to live my life...but I try to make a conscience effort to be kind to others because judgement day could be anytime soon.

The fragilty of life

NMAH Story: Flag

Yes...my feelings are mixed about the flag. I am proud to be an American but I also think that we are a nation with an abundance of power and with that power we should focus more on doing good will for others. I always thought we were an egotistical country in some ways and still believe that today. But I do love my country!
