NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. When I found out that the planes hit, I was at school. At first I didn't know what it was, but then I found out. I was totally shocked. I never knew that such a bad thing could happen. It was the largest tragedy that ever happend in my entire 13 years of life that I knew of. The tragedy of 9-11-01 will be in my life forever. And to see those terrorists laugh. It sure made the Arabs look bad even though they are not. One of my best friends is from Jordan and he says Arabs are some of the most friendly people. That day I was somewhat scared to walk home from school. But I knew that God was watching over me so the worry dissappeared. I was very sad when I saw the plane hit and heard the people screaming. I knew that that was only the begginning of the suffering yet to come. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. It has very much indeed. I now have a horrible act in my head forever. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I believe that the Heroism should be remeber more than anything else. The firefighters that died for us were heroes that I believe EVERYONE should remember. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? We had a flag flown before the tragedy. But the tragedy made me think more abou the colors red, white, and blue and the sacrifice the firemen made for the people of New York.
