Tell us your story: I work for a company that packages food products for the goverment and the military,thats where I was on sept.11.It was hard going through the day.Coworkers from the office was keeping the rest of us informed on what was going on.After I learned what was really happening it was all I could do to stay there.I wanted so bad to go home and be with my family.Somehow I managed to stay.That evening at our 2 o,clock break our supervisor called a meeting.At that point he told us all he knew and informed us we were now going on "rain down".This meant if a order came in from the for the military all other orders would be put aside and we would be working around the clock till those orders were filled.At that time he said at 3:30 I want you to go home and spend time with your familys because we dont know what tomorrow may bring.That evening all of my family was at my house.None of us could move from the T V.And none of us wanted anyone out of our site,not even to go to the restroom,it was like you would hold your breath till that person got back.We we got some orders,but none of those so big that we had to stay around the clock.For the first time I heared knowone fussing because they may have to work overtime,instead we would have stayed there and slept on the floor if we would have had to.Today Im just scared,but I am so glad i am an AMERICAN.God please Bless us all.
