NMAH Story NMAH Story: Story How did you witness history on September 11th? Share your experience. My father woke me up around 6:00 in the morning to watch what happened that day on the news. I watched it untilit was time to go to school. At school, instead of having regular announcements, the principle told allt he teachers to turn to the news. I had no homework that day because in all my classes, I was watching the news and seeing what was going on. In evry class for everybody, it was the samething. Watching the same thing for the whole class time. NMAH Story: Life Changed Has your life changed because of September 11, 2001? If so, tell us how. Yes, my life has changed since the accident. I have been more careful about life and about the other students and people around me. I have also been more open and lovingful to everybody that i know and that i don't know. NMAH Story: Remembered What do you think should be remembered about September 11th? I think that all the fireman and the policeman who were there in New York. Since they were brave enough to go into the building and save a lot of the people in the twin towers.We lost a lot of them and that's why we need to remember them. NMAH Story: Flag Did you fly an American flag after the events of September 11th? Have your feelings about the American flag changed as a result of September 11th? Yes i did fly the flag after the event.My feelings for the flag have changed. I now understand the freedom and the rights we have in the United States of America.
